Today the 4/5Poets wrote some Haiku! (Did you know the plural of ‘Haiku’ is ‘Haiku’????)
We learnt that Haiku is a three-lined poem and it doesn’t have to rhyme! Sounds easy, doesn’t it? Well, it’s a actually a little more challenging than you think! The first line has five syllables, the second line has seven syllables and the third line has syllables.
We wrote “Who Am I?” Haiku today. See if you can guess what living creature is described in each of the Haiku poems!
Were you able to guess what the Haiku poems were describing? How did you know?
